Chad Receive First Shipment Of Madagascar’s ‘COVID-19 Cure’

N’DJAMENA — The Republic of Chad received its first shipment of ‘coronavirus cure’ from Madagascar despite criticism and warnings from the World Health Organization (WHO) which warned against its use until approved by the organization.

On Friday, Tanzania announced that it received its first shipment of Madagascar’s Covid-Organics, which is produced from the artemisia plant – the source of an ingredient used in a malaria treatment – and other Malagasy plants.

Madagascar’s President Andry Rajoelina launched the remedy at a news conference last month, drinking from a sleekly-branded bottle filled with an amber liquid which he said had already cured two people.
