Chad Concludes Plan To Reopen Worship Centers

The Republic of Chad has concluded a plan to reopen worship centers after the country has seen improved control over the spread of COVID-19, President Idriss Deby said on Wednesday.

Deby, who chaired a meeting on COVID-19, said the reopening on June 25, 2020 will be done in strict compliance with safety measures.

He noted that the government will explore the possibility of resuming commercial flights.

Chad declared its first case of COVID-19 on March 19, 2020.
